Christian Finnigan (McGill University) received his MA in the History of Political Thought and Intellectual History from the University of London, his MLitt in Reformation Studies from the University of St Andrews, his JD from the Antonin Scalia Law School at George Mason University, his ThM in Historical Theology from Erskine Theological Seminary, and his MDiv from Reformed Theological Seminary. He is currently a PhD student in Ecclesiastical History under Professor W.J. Torrance Kirby. His research focuses on Reformation political thought, particularly with regards to the sixteenth-century reformer, Martin Bucer. He has presented papers at the Sixteenth Century Studies Conference, the Society for Reformation Studies, and the Southern Political Science Association.
