Lindsey Wedow is a first year PhD student in the English Language and Literature program at the University of Michigan. Lindsey holds bachelor’s degrees in English Literature and Theology from Loyola University Chicago as well as a master’s degree in English Literature from Loyola University Chicago. Lindsey’s primary field of interest is early modern drama, particularly that of early modern England. Within that field, Lindsey is interested in the intersection of, and frequently disjunction between, religion and theatre in early modern England. She devotes much interest to the ways in which medicine, theology, and philosophy converged in early modern knowledge, and how this highly interdisciplinary worldview is represented in early modern drama.
