Tonhi Lee is a Ph.D student in English at the University of Michigan. Having written his master’s thesis on the relation between commerce and love in Shakespeare’s plays, he is broadly interested in questions of ethics and justice in sixteenth- and early seventeenth-century England. His primary focus is on early modern drama as understood in its shifting relation to classical and late medieval dramatic traditions.
