Peter Bullerwell holds an MA in Classics from Dalhousie University and is currently a PhD student in the Faculty of Religious Studies at McGill University. He is interested in the ways in which the Platonic philosophical tradition is received and carried forward by Christian theologians in the Medieval and Early Modern periods. His PhD research focuses on the Neoplatonic sources of the controversies surrounding the efficacy of ritual acts in the English Reformation.
