Chelsea Pratt completed her Master’s degree in English literature at McGill University in 2014. Her research investigates affective design and audience response in early modern drama, asking how plays of the period negotiated the boundary between aesthetic production and reception. Her graduate thesis, A Matter of Life and Death: Spectres of Spectatorship in Richard III and Cymbeline, positions this research alongside an exploration of death as a religious experience in early modernity.
