Jacob Sagrans is a musicologist who studies the early music revival, sacred choral traditions, and musical medievalism. He received his PhD from McGill University’s Schulich School of Music in 2017. Jacob was a Graduate Student Associate of the Early Modern Conversions Project from 2013 to 2017. Since the summer of 2016 he has been living in the Boston area and working as an adjunct music history instructor. A longtime choral singer, Jacob is currently a member of Coro Allegro, Boston’s critically acclaimed LGBT classical choir. For more information, please visit his website.
