Research Affiliates

Postdoctoral researchers, Summer Seminar participants, project alumni, and other colleagues may apply for Research Affiliate status. Research Affiliates should have a demonstrable intellectual interest in the work of the project and an intention to collaborate in some form with core team members.  This may include, but is not limited to, participation in project events, co-publication, etc.

Research Affiliates will be granted access to password-protected areas of the project website and may participate in project-sponsored activities where is it geographically feasible. Affiliates will not be eligible for financial support through the Collaboration Fund or RTD Fund, but Co-Investigators may choose to use their research funds to support the research activity of their postdoctoral Research Affiliates. Research Affiliates who have secured a publisher for a monograph connected to the work of the project may apply for financial support for permissions fees and/or publication subvention.

Research Affiliate status will be reviewed annually and is contingent on evidence of continued, active participation in project activity and on the continued relevance of the project to the affiliate’s own research programs.  Affiliates will also be required to submit reports on project-related activity each spring.
