Sandra-Lynn Leclaire

Sandra-Lynn [Kahsennanó:ron] Leclaire is a Masters of Arts student in the History Department at McGill University. Her thesis research focuses on the historical memory and the Indigenous oral history surrounding the Beothuk of Newfoundland. She is currently working as a Research Assistant where she uses her Indigenous language knowledge to analyze early Iroquoian language documents written by Jesuits in New France. Her previous history research has focused on New France, Kanien’keha communities, and Jesuit missions.
